Independent Quality Assurance
To ensure our products consistently adhere to the highest standards, OnDek Vinyl Worx partners with QAI Laboratories, a leading independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification agency.
QAI conducts quarterly audits at the factory to ensure all processes and chemical compound comply with the original specifications of the membranes to meet the code requirements. This ongoing verification process guarantees that every roll of OnDek vinyl decking is produced to the same exacting standards we promise our customers.

Building Code & Fire Safety Compliance
OnDek Vinyl Worx products are evaluated to meet national building codes, ensuring they are suitable for a wide range of residential and multi-family applications. Our products have been rigorously tested for fire safety in accordance with the following standards:
- ASTM E108-20: Standard Test Methods for Fire Tests of Roof Covering
- CAN/ULC S107-20: Standard Methods of Fire Tests of Roof Coverings
These tests evaluate the performance of roofing assemblies when exposed to fire, and OnDek products have achieved both Class A and Class C fire ratings. This allows for flexible installation options to meet specific building requirements.
Material & Performance Standards
OnDek 60 mil externally reinforced nonwoven PVC membrane is certified to meet:
- CAN/CGSB 37.54-95 standard for Polyvinyl Chloride Roofing and Waterproofing Membrane. Our product achieves a
- Type 3, Class B rating, signifying a high-performance membrane suitable for demanding applications.

Founded in 1995 by a group of experienced certification and testing experts, QAI is an independent third-party testing, inspection and certification organization which serves the building industry, government and individuals with cost effective solutions through their in-house services, and an established world-wide network of qualified affiliates.
Canadian General Standards Board (CGSB)
The CGSB is a federal government organization that offers comprehensive standards development and conformity assessment services. The CGSB supports the economic, regulatory, procurement, health, safety, and environmental interests of government, industry, and consumers. Our OnDek 60 mil externally reinforced nonwoven PVC membrane is certified to meet the CAN/CGSB 37.54-95 standard for Polyvinyl Chloride Roofing and Waterproofing Membrane, achieving a Type 3, Class B rating, which signifies a high-performance membrane suitable for demanding applications.
